Today the sun is shining in Engelberg. These days we wonder why we ever lived anywhere else. It is warm, very warm, and we are okay with the small rain blasts that come and goes with the weekly thunderstorms. We are working hard to recognize a pattern in order to predict the weather. It is not going that well at all, but it makes our days less stressed, as we just have to take them for what they are.
On Friday last week, we hosted a wedding for an Engelberg local, Gal and her husband to be. They started the day in our hotel and went down to Grafenort for the ceremony and drinks. The 4-course dinner was held in our Brasserie and the party went on long into the night. We had a great 24 hours with the guests and had an enormous amount of fun during work.
Then, we took some time off to bike, enjoy the sun and try out all the trails up on Jochpass. The trails are not many but in pretty damn good shape. Both trails are technical in parts, but also very flowing and interesting. You can easily access them via the lift, first go up to Trübsee and then just bike over to Jochpass and take the lift up. It is great fun!
