On the finish line of our renovation we managed to make the obligatory mind change and “drop” into winter season.
This is always a bit of a free fall at first. All of our preparations needs to be done and everything have to fit into the big puzzle. All minds is under pressure and set to 16 during the first full-on weekend (We don’t want to be clicked out in a tiny bump on the road). We just try to make everything go smooth, just like a powder day on the mountain.
Luckily we had some great guests to ease into the winter mode and no bumps worth mentioning. Swepa, a group of friends and colleagues form central Switzerland, came to enjoy good food, nice beer, cocktails, after ski, sauna, beer, friends, beer, skiing, snowboarding and whatever came to their minds. A fine push into winter season for us and for everyone involved.
The skiing is good up on top of Mt. Titlis and the glacier, with pistes in tip top condition. Between 1800 m.a.s.l and 2428 m.a.s.l it is a bit less snow then before. This monday, 28th of november, degrees drew cooler and now the snow machines is up and running again. Jochpass is preparing for a opening day on 3rd or 4th of December, which we are very excited about!
To be able to make the first carving turns in Jochpass next week you should check out our “Less Friends On a powder day” offers in the mid-week packages. Go get them!
