The Angel’s Mountain
If there is a paradise on earth it could be here. At least according to us devoted nature lovers. It is not so strange that the mountain has this name, the location at the very end of the valley makes it feel very wild and remote, even though it is so close to Zurich. The endless walking trails, beautiful biking and other activities like Via Ferrata, canyoning and golf mean that you can make the most of our sacred valley!
Classic Alp Resort
Engelberg is situated at an altitude of 1000 metres, and is the first large mountain in the northern Alps. It is the biggest ski resort in central Switzerland, with 82 km of pistes to make your legs tired. In summer, the valley turns into a green oasis and offers endless hiking and biking possibilities.
Restaurants and bars
In addition to our own Ski Lodge Restaurant, the village offers several nice restaurants, so ask us about our personal favourites when you get here. After a nice dinner you can move on to our cosy bar, and when the atmosphere is at its peak, you can always continue out into the village’s night life, with its good variety of cool places. With a full day on the mountain in your legs, we guarantee you can get pretty groovy on the dance floor.
