The Angel’s Mountain
If there is a paradise on earth it could be here. At least according to us devoted nature lovers. It is not so strange that the mountain has this name. In all simplicity, the location in the northern Alps brings frequent heavy snowfalls, which starts as early as the end of October and typically continue to the end of April. Last spring, we had new powder all through April and the ski system was open until 25th of May.
Classic Alp Resort
Engelberg is situated at an altitude of 1000 metres, and is the first 3000 metre range the weather systems hit when they come in from the North West and British islands. This results in Engelberg being one of the safest bets in the Alps if you want to have good snow. All this snow, in combination with mountains that are not just beautiful, but offer more that 2000 vertical meters drop, means that we dare to say that Engelberg is one of the world’s greatest ski resorts.
Restaurants and bars
In addition to our own Ski Lodge Restaurant, the village offers several nice restaurants, so ask us about our personal favourites when you get here. After a nice dinner you can move on to our cosy bar, and when the atmosphere is at its peak, you can always continue out into the village’s night life, with its good variety of cool places. With a couple of thousand vertical metres in your legs, we guarantee you can get pretty groovy on the dance floor.
