After a few dry weeks here in the Alps, we can finally report: winter and snow is back! This week delivered the perfect mix, fresh refills of snow, with sunny spells in between. Read the full report to see how the big snowfall played out, and what’s up in Engelberg!
Wednesday night brought a 15–20 cm refill, treating us to some unexpectedly nice turns on Thursday. Then came Saturday. The morning started off with rain in the village, but as temperatures dropped the snow line followed, and before long the village was white again. Safe to say we were pretty happy about that. Sunday turned into a proper March powder day: good snow, good company, and shifting clouds that kept visibility low at times, only to suddenly open up into sunny and beautiful moments on the mountain. Now we’re just hoping the temperatures stay low so this fresh snowfall can remain dry and fluffy for a little while longer!!
The Sunny Days on our Terrace are Back!
This week we finally opened up our Garden Bar for some extra speedy beer deliveries straight to our sun-soaked terrace, and wow, we’re loving it! Seeing so many skis stacked up, smiling faces, and happy mountain people enjoying the sun in our garden is exactly why we do what we do.
There’s nothing quite like watching the mountain community come alive over a cold drink, a laugh, and some well-earned after ski vibes. Long may these sunny days last, and we can’t wait to see even more of you out here, soaking up the sun and sharing good times with friends (old and new).
