When in in-between seasons.
As you might have noticed, the weather here is complex and have a mind of it’s own.
We thought that we had the last summer days in the end of august, but september has been very much a summer month.
Summer warmth came creeping back after just a few days of rain and confused not just us but also the trees and the flowers, whom alrady started to prepare for winter. We look forward to seeing some change of colours and hope to get some more time for trecking and hiking while we wait.
If you have more interest in these activities – read the new “runners world” issue, it has a three page cover of the trecking in Engelberg. Unfurtenately it is in swedish, but the pictures are also very pretty. Buy one in Sweden or take a sneakpeak of it here.
Now we are almost done with renovating the “Red house”, a ongoing project over the summer months, and are looking forward to see how it will be after everything is in it’s right and rightful place.
Our far most important task for the moment is to find all the key staff for the winter months and get everything up to shape and rolling smooth when the powder arrives.
