The weekend programs are filled up to the rim
We are, as you might know, very used to sunny weather in september and we are very thankful for that. But now we want to see some snow before we give it all up and book tickets to indonesia. So to our great pleasure (hopefully you’ve seen the pictures on our instagram) it is now here. Snow was spotted on all of the tops around Engelberg and crept down the great fields of Laub. And just like that – We are once again believers. Winter is coming, and hopefully fast. The final decision about opening up the glacier for skiers is on the 11th of October. If it is positive, they will open up on weekends 15th of October.

On saturday the 2nd october the autumn market was held here in the village. It is a big market located throughout the heart of the village. It contains different market stalls and a lot of opportunities to buy things you never knew you needed.You could find a lot of small produced swiss delicacies, art and handmade traditional crafts. A must see during autumn in Engelberg!
Now we prepare ourselves for some skiing and you should do the same!
