After a seemingly quiet Christmas here in the hotel when everything is about spending time with family and friends we turn our heads towards our New Year’s celebration.
The snow layer all in all is a bit underwhelming in the village. Unfortunately, not much snow managed to survive the Föhn winds between the 16th of December til now, the white and merry Christmas was fine in the mountains, but only there. Luckily the conditions above 1800 meters (Around Trübsee – where the ski area begins) is another story! There it was snowing now for a couple of days and only the wind made it a bit harder to predict where it would land. Some of us found it, some stayed on the well -prepared pistes.
