The wind actually blew both our minds and the hat of off our heads on numerous occasions last weekend. The storm was peaking on Friday night and kept strong throughout Saturday only to calm down a bit during Sunday. The cable car and all skiing areas were closed during Saturday, this season’s first real down day. The bar was filled to the brim from lunchtime and we were all allowed to drink coffee and beers the whole day – not that bad after all. Even if we rather would be skiing of course.
Monday and Tuesday were ok and a bit colder, but not really cold enough… Rain in the village means snow on the top could actually be exactly true this time because there wasn’t any snow down here at 1000m. We lost about 30 cm of snow depth in a week and are now looking for a refill.
And be damned isn’t that a refill insight? Oh yes, indeed it is, hallelujah!
