Last Week – Snow Report 20th of May

Skiing in May is good in engelberg!

Skiing season still Going Strong in Engelberg

So we have been skiing for quite a long while now and it’s been good. Lifts on the glacier are open until 26th of May, and then we go full on beast mode for summer biking. If only the sun would bless us with her presence soon, that would be great…

Cold degrees and a lot of rain are on our schedule, not your average may spring here in the Alps. But hey, at least we will get green and flourishing nature in no time. Biking on Jochpass will open as soon as the snow will disappear, mid-June feels like a date to keep in mind. Before that, we are waiting for the snow to leave on Brunni (we never could have imagined saying that in the middle of May!) when the snow melts we can go on nice bike rides on, what used to be,  the sunny side. For now, we are biking down the valley and taking the train back up, works fine for us!

Next up on our to-do list is the traditional Midsummer Garden party on the 21st of June, everyone is very welcome to join in. More info will be provided a bit closer to the d-day.
