Report: December 6th – December 9th.

It’s been a great weekend here at Ski Lodge Engelberg. We kicked off the week with 20 cm of fresh snow—and as we are typing this, it’s still coming down! The snowpack is sitting at a solid 75 cm, and Steinberg is already delivering the goods. Low visibility down in the valley, but always sunny on the top. It feels like winter has finally clicked in here. Keep reading to get the latest updates from the Ski Lodge Engelberg Snow Report.

The forecast is looking good with both cool temps sticking around and a chance of sun and visibility. It’s shaping up to be one of those weeks where you’re happy to have packed both sunscreen and your all-mountain skis.

The warm weather over the past couple of weeks took a toll on Brunni’s snow conditions. However, the recent snowfall and colder temperatures have helped the resort bounce back. We can report that 5 out of 7 lifts are open, with a 15 cm base. 20 cm more, and it is perfectly skiable.

Don’t forget to check your gear and head out early to make the most of the fresh tracks. Engelberg is firing on all cylinders, so grab your crew and get ready for a week of great skiing and good vibes.

Winter is finally here at Ski Lodge Engelberg.

Today, December 10th, the clouds lifted, and the sun came out. Even though we got a lot of snow overnight and the couloirs felt deep, there are still some sharks out and about. Big news from our friends at Alpkäserei Gerschnialp—they’ve dropped off both a massive Swiss cheese that’s next-level, and we found Swiss truffles! Swing by Brasserie Konrad to get a taste. It’s the kind of thing that’ll make you want to slow down and savor every bite.
