The Snow Is Coming – Snow Round-Up

The Snow Is Coming - Snow Round-Up

Once again we are sunbathing on the busy restaurant terraces with a beer in our hand and SPF 60 sunscreen on our pale faces. After the latest dump we have had a very warm and sunny week.

At least the sun is shining, which is what we all say when things are good – but we’d obviously rather go powder skiing… The weekend was filled up to the brim in the hotel, bar, and restaurant so we kept busy. The snow conditions are challenging off the slopes, but you get a good grip and the slopes are still in tip-top condition.

We have some freeskiers in the house and they have managed to take some pretty great photos during their trip – even though we are currently lacking powder. We have no idea how that works, but pros are pros. Chad Sayers, Johan Jonsson and Oskar Enander have been out and about the last couple of days trying to shoot some cover shots, which hopefully they will be published in a magazine near you in the future.

Mattias Fredriksson, another legendary cover shooting machine, will join us this week and so will Marcus Caston from the Blizzard ski team. Their Instagrams are surely something to watch, so click on their names to jump into their world right away.

This week we are looking forward to some snow – the forecasts look quite encouraging (over 1200 m.a.s.l). It should snow further down in the valley during the weekend. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday sure seem to be promising.

Book your weekend stay here and come join us.
