15.02.2026
Reported: 8th – 15th February
As expected, we picked up fresh snow last week, and now it finally feels like winter has truly arrived. The ski season is on, the powder hype is real, and the promising forecast ahead is enough to make any skier’s heart beat just a little faster! Read the full report to see how last week’s snowfall delivered, and what exactly has us so excited about the days to come!

Wednesday and Thursday brought fresh snow up high, but strong winds moved the powder around quite a bit. Protected north to north-east facing slopes held onto some beautiful, deep turns, while other aspects were left more wind-blown and variable. Then came Friday, and what a day it turned out to be. A proper bluebird powder day. Steinberg and Sulz were absolutely stunning, with soft turns and big smiles all around. Have a look at some of the action from the day over on our Instagram.

Valentine’s Day delivered a proper snowfall, which, if you ask us, beats any romantic dinner plans. And the real jackpot turned out to be Sunday. When the clouds cleared, the mountain revealed around 20 cm of fresh champagne powder. The kind that sprays into the air with every turn, with just enough sluff chasing you down the face to keep things exciting. Light, cold, and outrageously fun. Have a look at Sous Chef Filip laying down his turns, this is what love really looks like <3
From inside the lodge
In the spirit of the freeride community (and for all our fellow powder lovers) we decided to celebrate the very first FIS Freeride World Champion, Ben Richards, who has been staying with us for a few weeks between competitions. We also raised a toast to local skier Elly Olsson, who snatched an impressive 4th place in the women’s ski category. We hosted a little surprise party in our Bar, gathering the community we love and celebrating the amazing skiers of our time. Congratulations, Ben & Elly! 🎉

Powder Alert
The upcoming week’s forecast has us reeeeeally excited! With around 60 cm of expected snowfall, we’re looking at some epic storm skiing, and a possible bluebird powder day on Friday to top it off. That said, the avalanche danger is high, so as always: read the avalanche bulletin, check the weather forecast, bring the right gear, know your lines, and ski with people you trust. There will be more powder days ahead, just make the right decisions and stay safe!
