22.02.2026
Reported: 16th – 22nd of February
Last week we sent out a powder alert, and wow did the mountain deliver. It’s been snowing so much that this week alone almost matches what we saw earlier this season. According to Bergfex, there are currently 249 cm of snow on Titlis, that’s around 80 cm more than last week. Not bad at all. Read the full report to find out how the storm skiing treated us, why we reached some of the highest avalanche danger levels of the season, and how that bluebird powder Friday quietly turned into an even better powder Sunday.

So yes… it’s been snowing. And snowing. And snowing.
Storm after storm has rolled across the Alps this week, dumping huge amounts of snow and even forcing roads and infrastructure to close due to avalanche danger. The Swiss are famous for their world-class infrastructure, but this time, it was simply too much snow coming down at once. With that said, it made for some pretty epic storm riding all week long. We were skiing super fluffy champagne powder in proper white-room conditions, chasing turns in low visibility and loving every second of it. By Sunday, when the sun finally broke through, the strong winds had moved a lot of that light snow around, packing it into denser slabs in exposed areas. Conditions changed quickly, but there were still great turns to be found if you knew where to look.

New Yummy Additions on Our Menu!
We’ve been playing around in the kitchen lately, and a few new dishes have made their way onto the Brasserie Konrad menu. Safe to say, we’re a little extra in love with these ones!
First up: homemade cappelletti filled with broccoli & ricotta, served with lovage, kale, pine nuts, and Gerschnialp Sbrinz. It’s fresh, green, and packed with flavour, the kind of dish that feels both comforting and exciting at the same time.
Then there’s the roasted Mangaliza pork belly, paired with herb crunch, beluga lentils, grilled cabbage, and a dried plum–cress dressing. Rich, balanced, and just the right amount of indulgent after a big day outside.
Over on our Bar menu, the halloumi burger has had a little glow-up too, and there are plenty of other fun surprises waiting. You’ll just have to swing by and explore the rest for yourself!

From inside the Lodge
Mark your calendars, this one’s going to be epic! It’s time for the annual Scandinavian Game at Engelberg’s Sporting Park. The local Swiss team goes head-to-head with the big community of Scandinavian hockey players in town, and you know it’s always a good one! Swing by our Bar from 16:00–18:00, grab the Burger + Beer deal for CHF 30, get the pre-game vibes going… then we head over for puck drop at 19:00 when Engelberg takes on Team Scandinavia. The trophy has been proudly sitting in our Bar since Team Scandinavia’s win last year. Will the Scandinavians defend their crown… or is Engelberg ready to snatch it back? What do you think?
Sun & Slush on the forecast!
There’s a load of sunshine and warmer temperatures in the forecast for the coming week, so bring your SPF and let’s get that goggle tan together. We’re heading straight into spring skiing mode, not a bad way to spend the week if you ask us!
