WOW—what a week in Engelberg! We kicked things off with a much-hyped April pow dump, and it delivered. The mountain picked up around 30–40 cm of fresh snow, and the stoke levels were sky high. Classic Engelberg spring: pow turns in the morning, sunshine in the afternoon.
As the weekend rolled in, the freeride community came together for one of the best events of the season: the annual Prix Garantie Line Catcher. Held in Sulz, this grassroots-style competition brings riders together to shape jumps, throw down, and vote for the winner themselves. The snow was soft, the sun was out, and the vibes were through the roof. Big shoutout to Simon Lundh for making it all happen, and to Elias Lundh for snapping photos from the day (check them out below!).
Looking ahead, it looks like another round of snow could be rolling in mid-week. A couple of different forecast models are hinting at it, so let’s cross our fingers for more cold temps and sticky snow up high. April—you’ve still got it!

The Dinner Club is back in The Library at Ski Lodge Engelberg. Expect a cozy atmosphere, great company, and a proper three-course dinner for CHF 55.
