Snow Report January 27th - Ski Lodge Engelberg

The snow report Engelberg January 27th is here, and it’s been a week of sunny skies and smooth groomers! With weekdays offering uncrowded slopes, it’s been the perfect time to carve up the piste. A couple of the Ski Lodge Crew went up for early bird skiing this Saturday to make the best out of the conditions. The views and groomers did not disappoint.

We’ve also been lucky with the warmer weather. Warm Föhn winds brought rising temperatures, and lays the ground work for a proper goggle-tan. A perfect place to soak in some early spring skiing vibes is over at the Brunni-side. This Sunday, we even got lucky with some dust on crust vibes. Check out the photos below.

Looking Ahead – Powder Alert incoming?

As we move into Monday, January 27th, the snow conditions are starting to shift. Dust on crust has opened up new corners to explore around the Titlis backyard, but wind-exposed areas are chalky and tough to navigate. It’s not ideal for showing off your smoothest turns—but that’s about to change. Fresh snow is forecasted soon, so get ready to switch out your wax and prep your gear for some proper powder days. WePowder is projecting up to 70cm of fresh powder the next couple of days, see screenshot below. As always, keep an eye on the avalanche reports, bring your avi-gear, and make your own decisions of where to go.
