Snowfall ahead – Snow Report 27th of Jan

Even though we haven’t had a cloudy sky in days, some of us managed to find both fresh tracks down the hill – as well as on the flat land.

The latest snowfall was a little more than a week ago but oh did we enjoy it for days! The good thing with these occasional snowfalls is that there is much more than the resort skiing to be indulged. Middle of last week Mattias Hargin, Marcus Caston and Oskar Enander with friends went up Alpele and found the goods, a small hike for a big reward. (That they later suited up in cross country gear and tried the tracks in the village, and posted it on social media stories, was only a way to scare powder hunters away) Luckily they did because also on Friday some of our friends in the Finnish Mafia went up to the sunny side (Brunni Bahn) and found great powder just from a small hike (photo evidence on our Instagram)

Mountain guide Tobias Granath is still finding untouched areas with his guests! (he always does!) Go check his Instagram Stories if you don’t believe us!

With that said – we are not yet down the rabbit hole crying our eyes out for a refill, but we won’t mind one. Luckily for us – it seems to lay in our immediate future! Enjoy!
