The sun keeps on shining in Engelberg! We have had another great week here in Engelberg, with nice temperatures and sunny slushy slopes. The pistes has been hard and good in the morning thanks to the colder temps during the nights and if you are more into the spring snow the afternoons has been nice and slushy thanks to the warm sun.
Spring is really the best times in the alps, after a morning of carving you can sit and relax in the sun or vise versa if you are more in to the softer snow. The off piste has been good in the afternoons after the sun has warmed up the snow that has been cold from the night before.
During the Friday it started raining in the village and we had around 15 cm of fresh snow on Saturday morning, the sun came out and it was great to ski some cold snow again. The wind picked up during the afternoon and unfortunately what didn’t get skied on the Saturday the wind took. Nice and sunny on the Sunday as well. With some wind.
There is a storm on the horizon again and we are hoping for some more powder this weekend.
