Midsummer was a blast and we are up and running with the summer restaurant! Our busiest weeks are over and it is time for recreation and new adventures.

A hiking trail between Engelberg and Stanserhorn is being built which opens up a whole new side of hiking. A lot of ridges and good views are promised. If you do not want to wait, the small gondola safari is opening up for visitors on the 16th of July.

“The Buiräbähnli Safari is a challenging hike, takes roughly 20 hours and includes two overnight stops. The circular trail starts and finishes at the Engelberg railway station.”

Snow machines at the Jochpass are being built for the next season and the bike trails are running from Jochpass to Engstlen. The track from Jochpass to the valley is soon to be opened, but if you are up for some bumps on the road, you can already bike down it.

Psst. The man, the myth, the legend “Snowflake” is still skiing on the top glacier (no one else allowed).
