One of our most appreciated traditions here at the Lodge is to invite great chefs and challenge them to make an impression on us and our guests. Our main purpose with this tradition is just to shake things up a bit, new inspiration, flavours and ideas keep us on our toes and we hope that you will be here to share the experience with us.

This year, we welcome Christian Hellberg, a fantastic, energetic chef with a big portion of humor and a side of perfectionism.

He will be cooking for us on the 24th and 25th of February 2017 and we are looking forward to giving him access and reign free in our kitchen!

Hard facts:

Christian Hellberg (born 1972) is a Swedish chef and co-author of the cookbook Flavours from Fjällbacka. Many know him from “Dinner Secrets from the Abbey”, in which he participated several times. In spring 2008 he was one of the two chefs who competed against each other in “Chefs Duel”. Chefs Duel is a big favorite, in which friends or colleagues compete for who is the “best” in the kitchen under the direction of chef Erik Brännström.

Hellberg has cooked for events like the annual Nobel Peace Prize awards and is a renowned TV-chef, co-owner, founder and head chef of many great restaurants.

He also won the annual competition “Chef of the Year” in Sweden in 2001 and is well known and appreciated in the Swedish culinary scene ever since.

Christian will cook our Skier’s Dinner (three-course dinner for 79 CHF) and give us some new input for the barmenu!
